Today I am thankful for....
...bedtime. It's the most wonderful time of the day.
...the long, hot showers I get to take after said bedtime. The kind that leave the hot water heater on empty.
...my fleece vest. Keeps me just warm enough to avoid turning up the heat.
...mashed potatoes, corn, and gravy with browned ground beef. (I dare you to say that 10 times in a row.) Comfort food at it's finest.
...candy corn in October and peeps in April. My 2 favorite candies in my 2 favorite months.
...the color black. About 80% of my wardrobe is black. It's my absolute favorite color. The downside to this fashion choice, however, is that I always look like I'm in mourning. Whatever. I don't really see that as a major problem.
...my blog. I'm bursting with pride over this project.
...the people who take time to read my posts. Thank you.

So tell me, my loyal peeps, what are you thankful for today. Aside from the obvious, that is. Yes, I know you're thankful for your loving spouse, your beautiful children, and your vast wealth. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Tell me what ELSE puts a smile on your face (without getting x-rated, that is).
What are YOU thankful for?
dark chocolate, what else?
ReplyDeleteI too have a crush on candy corn and almost worship every bag I eat! So, I am thankful for Barchs for making the lovely little pieces of happiness too. Also, today I found myself most thankful for my husband. I know nothing new right? Except I discovered a very helpful characteristic today. He can turn a blind eye at my ADD way of doing things and even laugh. You know in the middle of dumping the laundry on the bed, noticing the floor needs to be vacuumed. Go downstairs to get the vacuum and remember I meant to finish fall decorating and so on. So even though the laundry is strung out on the bed and the vacuum is sitting in the middle of the living room and I have craft stuff all over the place, he still loves me! ( I think...)
ReplyDeletetoday i'm thankful for my daughters getting along and playing nice!
ReplyDeleteI will see your bedtime, and raise you a naptime and any trip anywhere alone.
ReplyDeleteHa ha Jessica, I do that too! Today I am thankful that I got to go get the mail, even though it wasn't my own....it was Roger & Sherry's, which means we are in ND which is another thing I'm thankful for. I'm thankful for little baby smiles and coos and laughs. Plus I am thankful for more people who gave us baby presents in 24 month sizes. hooray!!!
